Church Services

There are several weekly services in the Parish. All services are centred around the exposition of Scripture and we regularly share in the Lord's Supper. All services are followed by a time for getting together over tea and coffee.

Growth Groups
Our Sunday gatherings are complemented by mid week small groups in people's homes. In these groups we study God's Word, pray and share about life.

        Tuesday 10.30am at Blackheath
        Wednesday 10.30am at Blackheath
        Thursday 10.00am at Mt Victoria
        Thursday 7.45pm at Blackheath

Missionary Prayer Meeting
A monthly prayer meeting focusing mainly on Mission is held between 8.30-9.30am in the rectory on the third Saturday (notified in advance in the weekly notices).

Support Groups
Two groups, St Aidan's Care & Share and St Peter's Helping Hands meet monthly to support the work of those two churches and have fellowship together.
Care & Share meets the first Friday of every month at 10.30am in St Aidan's Committee Room.
Helping Hands meets on the third Monday every month at 2 pm in St Peter's Hall.

Kids' Spot
During service times at St Aidan's and St Peters

OKs (Older Kids)
Meets every Friday night in St Peters Hall, Mt Victoria from 7pm to 8.30pm for children/youth from Year 4 and upwards.

Special Religious Education (SRE)
Classes in SRE are held every Thursday for all infants/primary age groups at both Blackheath and Mt Victoria Public Schools.

Play Centre
The hall and grounds at St Aidan's are made available for mothers and their preschool children to play together on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10.30am to 12noon. A team from St Aidan's organise the morning and provide morning tea.

Craft Group
A craft group meets in St Peters Hall every Wednesday during school terms from 10am to 2.30pm.

Open Door
A time of fellowship for some of our homebound members. Meets at 10.30 am on the first Friday of the month in The Rectory. Transport is arranged

Music Practice
For St Aidan's music team at a convenient time

Parish Council
Meets on the 3rd Tuesday every second month starting at 7.45pm.

St Aidan's Church Committee
Meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7.45pm

St Peter's Church Committee
Meets every second Thursday of the month at 5pm.
